Clinical AI documentation and healthcare automation

AI for multi-site healthcare and aged care providers that drafts clinical documentation and automates intake and reporting, with patient data inside your environment.

Where clinical time goes

  • Booking and intake

A person retypes referrals and forms into the practice or patient system.

  • Documentation and records

    Clinicians finishing notes after hours.

  • AHPRA and TGA exposure

AI tools adopted without clear rules on consent, accuracy and records.

  • Aged care compliance

Care minutes and documentation evidence assembled by hand under the Aged Care Act 2024.

  • Reporting across sites

Activity and quality numbers pulled together manually each month.

What we deliver

  1. Intake

AI reads referrals and forms and prepares the record. Staff confirm.

  2. Notes

Draft documentation for clinicians to check and sign.

  3. Evidence

Compliance records gathered as work happens, ready for review.

  4. Report

One version of activity and quality numbers across every site.

Built for sensitive data

We built RootCauseAI, our own self-hosted AI product, to run inside a client's own network. Healthcare work follows the same rule: AI runs in your infrastructure in Australia, and clinicians approve.

  • Patient data stays onshore
  • Never used to train a model
  • We flag where TGA software rules may apply

Questions

Is AI allowed with patient records under the Privacy Act?

Yes, if you meet the Australian Privacy Principles. Health information is sensitive information, so any AI use must match the purpose it was collected for or have consent, and the OAIC recommends a privacy impact assessment first. Processing inside your own environment avoids disclosing records to an AI vendor.

What is the best clinical AI documentation approach for Australian providers?

The safest approach drafts notes for a clinician to check and sign, runs on infrastructure the provider controls in Australia and keeps both the draft and the signed version. It should plug into Best Practice, MedicalDirector or Cliniko so clinicians avoid a second screen.

Can AI scribes be used in Australian clinics?

Yes. AHPRA's guidance says practitioners remain responsible for the accuracy of their notes, should obtain patient consent before a consultation is recorded and must review every AI draft. We build scribe workflows that capture that consent and keep an edit history for each note.

Does clinical AI software need TGA approval?

It depends on what the software does. Software that diagnoses, predicts or recommends treatment can be a regulated medical device, while tools that only draft notes or handle admin are generally outside that scope. We flag where a planned use may cross the line for your clinical governance team to decide.

Can AI help aged care providers with documentation under the new Aged Care Act?

Yes. AI can draft progress notes and care plan updates from staff records, check documentation against the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and gather care minutes evidence for reporting. Care staff and clinical leads approve every record before it is filed.
