AI readiness assessment

Score your organisation across data, systems, culture and security and see where to start, in a quiz that runs entirely in your browser.

Question 1 of 12
Question 1 of 12Do you know which process AI should fix first?

Our six-dimension readiness framework

  • Strategy and use cases

Which processes are worth automating, who owns them and how value will be measured.

  • Data quality and access

Whether the data a use case needs is accessible, complete and consistent across sites.

  • Systems and integration

Whether your ERP, finance, field and document systems can be read and updated safely.

  • Security and data sovereignty

Where data would be processed, who can access it and what your obligations require.

  • People and skills

Who will run, approve and improve the AI, and what training and change support they need.

  • Governance and risk

Decision rights, human approval points, logging and the risks to record before anything is built.

What a full assessment delivers

  • Current-state map

Your processes, systems and data flows as they run today.

  • Ranked use cases

Candidates scored on value, effort and risk, with one to start.

  • Data and integration gaps

What must be fixed before each use case can work.

  • Roadmap

Phases with a go or stop decision after each.

  • Risk register

Privacy, security and operational risks, with owners.

What your score means

  1. Early stage

Foundational data and governance work comes before AI projects.

  2. Developing

Some gaps to close, and a well-chosen pilot can run alongside the fixes.

  3. Ready

A strong foundation. Pick the process with the clearest payback and start there.

Questions

What does an AI readiness assessment check before you fund a pilot?

An AI readiness assessment is a structured review of whether an organisation's data, systems, people and controls can support AI, ending with the first use case worth funding. It prevents the common failure of choosing a tool before checking the data it depends on.

Who should be involved in an AI readiness assessment?

Include the process owners for the candidate use cases, IT or your managed service provider, finance, and whoever owns privacy and risk. Multi-site organisations should add one representative per site type, because processes and data quality usually differ between sites.

How long does an AI readiness assessment take for an organisation with several sites?

Duration depends on how many sites, entities and systems are in scope, and on how quickly data samples can be shared. We confirm the timeline in writing at scoping, and the fee is fixed before work starts.

Is Microsoft Copilot readiness different from AI readiness?

Yes. Copilot readiness focuses on Microsoft 365 permissions, sensitivity labels and what Copilot could surface to the wrong person. AI readiness looks across your whole operation, and Copilot readiness can run as one module inside it.

What are the signs an organisation is not ready for AI?

Common signs are key data held in personal spreadsheets, the same process run differently at each site, no named owner for the process you want to automate and no agreed rule on staff using public AI tools. Each gap is fixable, often alongside a first pilot.

Is the online AI readiness quiz private?

Yes. The quiz runs entirely in your browser, so your answers and score are never sent to us and no contact details are requested. Closing the tab clears everything you entered.
