Privacy rules still apply to AI
The Australian Privacy Principles and New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 cover personal information in any AI tool. From 10 December 2026, Australian privacy policies must also explain where a computer program uses personal information to make, or substantially help make, decisions that could significantly affect people. We record what goes into Claude and who approved it.

What does a Claude consultant do?
A Claude consultant helps an organisation decide where Claude fits, roll it out to staff with a usage policy, connect it to internal systems and measure the result. Solve8 also takes Claude Code prototypes through testing and deployment.
Can Claude connect to our internal systems?
Yes. Claude can reach documents and business systems through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and through APIs. We build those connections with access limited to what each task needs.
Does Anthropic train Claude on our business data?
Anthropic states that by default it does not train its models on data from its commercial products, such as the Claude Team and Enterprise plans and the API. Personal Pro and Max accounts follow consumer settings, which the usage policy covers.
Can you deliver Claude consulting in New Zealand?
Yes. Our team works with organisations across Australia and New Zealand, and usage policies for New Zealand teams follow the Privacy Act 2020.
How do we measure whether Claude is worth it?
Pick one task and record how long it takes and how often it needs rework before the pilot, then measure the same things with Claude in use. That baseline decides whether to expand.
